Hostage Situation "Nothing Seriuos"

In what was supposedly a hostage situation, police and SWAT swarmed into Jefferson City and put the Governor Office Building on lockdown for about 3 hours.
Mark Huges with the Public Service Commision, a tenant of the building, describes the lockdown

Traffic was diverted from the area during the ordeal until the "all clear" had been given by police after that methodic floor by floor search of the building turned up nothing. Police stillaren't sure what exactly happened, but Captain Michael Smith of the Jefferson City Police said that a woman in an elevator claims to have heard a voice notification that a hostage incident was taking place and she notified another woman who called the Sonitrol Alarm Company, which called police.
