Kennett voters will go to the polls in less than a month to decide whether the school board can issue bonds to renovate schools. Superintendent Jerry Noble says the bond actually brings no tax increase. Specific Information regarding the issue, which has been named Project K.I.D.S., can be found at the school Web site.
Noble said there taxpayers will find, among other things, a video that explains the issue, and provides pictures of many of the facility problems at the high school. There will also be a list of frequently asked questions regarding the initiative.
The vote is scheduled for April 8th.
